About Me

I have worked on ecology for over 15 years and have published several papers related to eutrophication, drought, and biodiversity in aquatic ecosystems. I have particular experience in biological responses to environmental change in lakes, rivers, and lagoons from fieldwork to laboratory experiments.

I am mostly interested in the response of aquatic ecosystems and their biodiversity (taxonomic & functional) to environmental disturbances such as eutrophication, microplastic pollution, land use, salinization, or global warming. Currently, I work at the Biology Department at Çankırı Karatekin University.
